Well hello there folks

Hi! I'm the new gal on the block, and I'm very excited to be joining in the fun. My name is Janice, I live in Norfolk, Va. I just turned 30 last week, meh. I'm married, no kiddies but for a hyperactive schnauzer named Jackamo and a fat, lazy cat named Jasper. I really just started quilting about 3 months ago. I had to write an article for work actually, where I took a quilting class and then wrote about it. I ended up signing up for the rest of the classes in the series and now I'm hooked. Anyway, i'm happy to be joining all of you. It looks like you are all so very talented and I'm hoping to be sending off some squares you will enjoy. Until later...

My January Blocks

Hi my fellow quilt block swappers!

Hope everyone is finding plenty of time to do what we love -- patchwork & quilting. I haven't posted in awhile but I've been anxious to post my most recent blocks (the January swap). I dropped out of the February swap because of some other commitments but I'm back this month and so ready to get started.

Aren't these blocks from Suzanne just beautiful? I love the blue & yellow combinations. I think these colors evoke happy feelings. I especially love the blue & yellow plaids she used in each block. These blocks are so me! Thanks again Suzanne and I am so sorry it took me so long to post pictures of them.
