I have been wanting to show off the blocks I have received this year but I was not able to post a message here until recently. I have received 7 wonderful blocks from my lovely swap partners all of which I plan on sewing together to make a 'swap quilt'. The blocks are quite similar in colours, people have used maroons that are almost the same, so it should look great. I j ust love that it will be made by so many people, a quilt of friendship indeed. I am sorry that I cannot remember who made what, I jumbled the envelopes and blocks. I am making it a new rule of mine to mark the back of the blocks with the name of the swap partner who made it.
I must also mention there is another 2 blocks that I received that are not in this picture, the blocks are at my mothers and I haven't picked it up yet.

I received 2 blocks from my partner this month! Thank you Melissa, I really do love these blocks especially the colors in the first one. There have been a few months that I have not received anything so I really want to tell Melissa thank you - even with a hurricane coming her way and now having to evacuate she sent me 2 blocks! Amazing! I would have understood if it came late, but then again I know this is probably what kept your nerves under control.
