I noticed my March partner never posted the block I sent. I hope she got it! She asked for "Christmas". After a lot of thought this is what I came up with.

Need some help Ladies

Hi Lovely Ladies,

After joining our block swap about six months ago as first time swapper, I have found it to be a great experience and would like to get involved in some other groups. Do any of you know any other quilt block swap groups that you could recommend.

Hi, Im new to this, Never done a swap before, But im sooo excited to get involved. My names Louise and I Live in Peterborough England. I love making New friends from all over the world, and can't wait to see what you start making me.
I have been quilting for 9 years, but didn't start taking it seriously 'till about 4 years ago when I didn't have a tv and wanted to do something to entertain myself in the evenings.
Im now training to teach kids sewing, and loving every minute of it but it doesn't stop me buying more fabrics and new machines occasionally!!


Here is some WIP.


I have been working on this piece for 14 years, it only comes out to go on holiday with me, then when Im back in England it goes away in the cupboard again!!
As you can see it is all hand pieced, and Im fairly new to machine quilting, but I love giving new things a try.

Anne has got to be the most considerate swapper in the world. I did not receive several blocks last year and really just kind of got used to it. Anne, sent a block that never arrived and when she found out she made another and I received it yesterday all the way from Australia! Thank you Anne.

February Block

I noticed my February partner didn't post the block I made. Her description indicated she wanted school theme blocks in primary colors.

March quilt block

I received my quilt block from Jen Dickson. It was a week or two ago. I'm late in posting. Sorry, Jen. But it's well made. Her corners match up so well, I'm in awe. Typical quilt piecing envy, I know. I'm sure we all get it. :) Thank you, Jen. Very nice.
